Payment & Confirmation

Submit your request to reserve a time slot. Your request will be reviewed for availability. A 50% booking fee is required to schedule and secure your ride. Please do not pay the booking fee until you receive a confirmation message stating that your requested time is available.

The Estimated Price shown reflects the service price for your trip plus any applicable upcharges (Rush-hour or After-hours). The Booking Fee (50%) is displayed for your reference and is paid separately only after your time is confirmed. Up to 15 minutes wait time at pickup is included. The Estimated Price is based on the planned route and projected travel time at booking. If unforeseen traffic, road closures, weather, or other conditions beyond our control cause the actual trip to exceed the quoted time by more than 15 minutes, the fare may be adjusted at the destination to account for the additional time (billed in 15-minute increments at the standard hourly rate). This provision applies to en-route travel time. Pickup wait time is addressed separately in the Terms of Service.

Terms of Service

Booking and Payment Policy

By booking a ride with EVODE, you agree to the following terms:

1. Consent to Receive Text Messages

By requesting a ride, you consent to receive text message updates about your booking.
Message and data rates may apply.

2. Booking Fee

All ride bookings require a 50% non-refundable booking fee at the time of reservation. This fee secures your appointment and is applied toward the total cost of the ride.

Note: The Booking Fee is shown separately in the price breakdown for transparency and is not included in the Estimated Price.

3. Rush-Hour Upcharge

A $10.00 rush-hour upcharge applies when the scheduled pickup time or the pickup time plus trip duration falls between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. This upcharge is included in the Estimated Price and is due upon final payment of the ride balance.

4. After-Hours Upcharge

A $25.00 after-hours upcharge applies when the scheduled pickup time or the pickup time plus trip duration falls between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM (overnight window). This upcharge is included in the Estimated Price and is due upon final payment of the ride balance.

5. Wait Time & No-Show Policy

Your fare includes up to 15 minutes of complimentary wait time at the pickup location. After the initial 15 minutes, an additional charge of $25.00 for each 15-minute period (or portion thereof) will apply if the driver is able to continue waiting.

If the passenger has not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled pickup time and no arrangements have been communicated, the booking may be treated as a No-Show. In this case, the ride will be cancelled and the booking fee will be forfeited.

6. Refund Policy

The booking fee is fully refundable if the cancellation is made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup are not eligible for a refund. Once a ride has started, no monies are eligible for a refund.

7. Final Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due upon arrival at the final destination. Payment can be made in cash, via credit card, or through any other accepted payment method specified at the time of booking.

8. Routing & Traffic Delays

Your Estimated Price is calculated using Google Maps at the time of booking based on the planned route and projected travel time, and it includes any applicable rush-hour or after-hours upcharges shown at booking. The actual route taken may differ due to real-time conditions.

If circumstances beyond our control—such as traffic congestion, accidents, construction, road closures, weather, or law-enforcement activity— cause the actual trip to exceed the quoted time by more than 15 minutes, the fare may be adjusted at the destination to account for the additional service time. Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments at the standard hourly rate in effect at the time of service. We will communicate any material changes when safe and practical to do so.

If the actual trip duration is within 15 minutes of the quoted time, the quoted service price stands. Requests made by the passenger for route changes or additional stops may also result in additional time charges. This section addresses en-route travel time; pickup wait time before the ride begins is governed by Section 5 (Wait Time & No-Show Policy).

9. Modifications and Delays

If you wish to modify your booking, you must contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but availability is not guaranteed. Delays caused by the customer may result in additional charges.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

We collect personal information such as your name, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, notes you provide, and payment details (processed securely through Square). This information is collected only when you submit a booking request.

Your information is used to provide transportation services, process payments, and communicate with you about your booking. This includes sending you booking confirmations, updates, and reminders via text message.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers (such as Square for payment processing) only as necessary to fulfill your booking or comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Payment information is processed securely by Square and is never stored directly on our servers.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

6. Text Messaging

By submitting a booking request, you consent to receive text message updates about your booking. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out by contacting us directly, though this may limit our ability to provide timely updates.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details provided on our website.
